Awesome concept, love how it recontextualizes the infinite runner. The Mode7-ish camera angle with slight wobbles enhances the already cute art.

I felt the game was kind of unfair at times, maybe some kind of power up to escape tighter clutches would solve it? Awesome 'nway! Good job!

Mode 7 was actually one of our initial inspirations! We only had 2d artists but didn't want to limit ourselves to 2d gameplay so taking inspiration from Mode 7 was the obvious choice in our eyes. The balance definitely could use more tweaking since spawns are almost entirely random. But thanks so much for playing!

Love this game, the art and specially reminds me of parappa the rapper, or warioware, even south park a bit, overall pretty superflat and K9 is rly cute!+ Love the vibes, pretty stellar work, also always a fan of 3D spaces with 2D art, creates a rly cool pop-up book effect, rly fits the playfulness of this game's particular interpretation of the theme, which I also thought to be pretty engenius - and pretty f*ing hilarious. Great music choice though a bit too loud. Feels a little bit luck based, maybe could do with some balance or adding an extra player verb to make the thug-of-war with K9 a bit less unfair. Stacked 1049,64m and most reccords seem to sit around the 1000 mark. Always nice to see online leaderboards were able to make it in.

Thanks for playing and giving feedback! There were power ups in early discussions or a dash that recharges to pull K-9 away, but unfortunately they fell to the cutting room floor during the jam. It's definitely an idea we'll revisit if we work on the game further. I'm glad you had fun!

It's pretty fun little game that is a little rough around the edges. Visuals are adorable, and reminds me very much of Mister Driller, though that makes the lackluster audio stand out that much more.

Echo Blues Effect doesn't loop very well at all, and will cut out if you score above 1000 points. I'm not sure if it's just broken on my end, but the complete lack of sound effects is kind of surprising. An audio clue when the dog is lunging would make it a little easier to play even.

All in all, while a fun and cute game, it really underscores how important audio is to game design.

I left a comment on your video as well, but thanks all lot! The audio was admittedly a bit of an afterthought. I'd spent a lot of time on menus and spent the last few hours of the jam making sure that I got as much of the artists' work in as possible. I'm definitely gonna prioritize audio a bit more for my next jam though.
